Joe has over 20 years of marketing and sales experience working with Fortune 500 and mid-size companies. With an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Northeastern University, Joe specializes in Strategic Planning, including brand equity analysis, brand positioning, and new product development and launch. His strengths also include identifying and creating revenue and profit growth opportunities, customer experience mapping and training, and leading and motivating teams.
A graduate of the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership at Eckerd College, Joe has worked in the consumer packaged goods, defense contracting and finance industries, including GTE Sylvania, Rich-SeaPak Corporation, Interbake Foods, Capital One, and George Weston Limited. He has also worked with some of the top-ranked consulting firms such as Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company and the Monitor Group.
Joe has managed high-profile consumer product launches, including the Capital One Image Card personalized credit card, an NFL-licensed cookie product line, products under the World Wildlife Federation and Richard Simmons brands, as well as a complete repositioning and relaunch of the SeaPak brand. He is highly skilled in creating strategic marketing plans, managing budgets, identifying and implementing process improvements, conducting actionable market research and driving team results.
